Synod of Mid-America  - The Synod of Mid-America’s offices are located in Overland Park, KS.  The Synod

Serves six presbyteries that cover the states of Missouri, Kansas, and a small portion of Illinois.

 

Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) -  From the denomination’s headquarters in Louisville, KY the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Coordinates and serves the 178 presbyteries which make up our denomination.

 

In June of 2006, the 217th Meeting of the General Assembly will be held in Birmingham, AL.  This historic assembly will occur simultaneously with the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, also in Birmingham.  You can keep up on the activities before and during the assembly online by using the link here.

 

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – Use this link to see what our denomination is doing in response to disasters at home and abroad.  The annual One Great Hour of Sharing Offering is a major part of the funding for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

 

Since 2001, there has been an ongoing study concerning the peace, unity and purity of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  The commission has recently released its report for study by individuals and congregations.  A copy of the report can be downloaded here.
