Upcoming Events at First Presbyterian Church

We are rapidly entering some of the busiest time of the year for our church.  Here are just a few of the events coming up in the next week or two.

Wednesday, April 5 – Communicant’s Class 6:30pm.  This is our final class before meeting with Session.  Choir practice 7pm.

Thursday, April 6 – Cub Scout Den Meeting 6pm.

Saturday, April 8 – Worship 6pm

Sunday, April 9 – Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week.  Sunday School for all ages 9:30am.  Worship at 10:45.  This is the day we receive the One Great Hour of ‘Sharin’ offering so bring in all your fish banks!

Tuesday, April 11 – Cub Scout Den Meeting 6pm

Wednesday, April 12 – 6pm Session meeting in the library.  The Communicant’s Class will meet with session.  7pm Youth Group set up for Easter Egg Hunt.

Thursday, April 13 – Maundy Thursday worship service 7pm.  We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Friday, April 14 -  Good Friday Service at 12:10pm at 2nd Baptist Chruch sponsored by the BGMA.

Holy Saturday, April 15 – Worship at 6pm we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper

Easter Sunday, April 16 – 9:30am Easter Egg Hunt open to the community.  10:45am worship service with the Lord’s Supper.  Christ the Lord is Risen today!  Alleluia!!!

Monday, April 17 – Cancer Support Group meets at 7pm.  It’s tax day!!!!
