Just a few of the events coming up in the life of 1st Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green.

We are still seeking writers to participate in the Advent Devotionals Project. If you are interested contact Rev. O'Dowd or the church office.

Advent begins November 27th. With that in mind if you or your family are interested in lighting the Advent Wreath during worship, contact Rev. O'Dowd.

October 30 - Sunday School at 9:30 AM for all ages. Worship begins at 10:45 AM. Choir Rehearsal follows immediately after worship. Installation of Rev. Murray Phillips as pastor of the North Lincoln Parish at 3PM at the Auburn Presbyterian Church.

November 2 - Communicant's Class meets at 6:30 PM.

November 3 - Missouri Union Presbytery meets in Moberly all day.

November 5 - Worship at 6PM in the sanctuary.

November 6 - Sunday School at 9:30. Worship at 10:45 and Choir Rehearsal immediately following worship.

November 9 - Session meets at 6PM in the library.

November 18 - Annual Soup and Chili Supper & Bazaar. Serving from 11AM-7PM. Cash. food and Craft donations welcomed, we also need helpers throughout the day. Please contact Colleen Meyer or Rachel O'Dowd with food questions and Elizabeth McConnell and Wilene Gamm with questions regarding the Bazaar.

November 19 - Worship at 6PM

November 20 - Kirk Day. Coffee hour at 9:30AM Worship at 10:45AM. We will be having a congregational meeting during and following worship. Choir Rehearsal immediately following the meeting.

November 23 - BGMA Thanksgiving Eve Service at Church of the Nazarene.

November 24 - Thanksgiving Day!

November 27 - The First Sunday of Advent!

We are currently working on an Advent Devotional booklet. If you are interested in contributing please contact the pastor as soon as possible for more details!!!

October 12 - Session meets at 6PM. Choir rehearsal is at 7PM.

October 14-15 - Festival of Sharing and Youth Fest at the MO State Fairgrounds in Sedalia. Worship at 6PM.

October 16 - Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30AM and Worship begins at 10AM. Nursery service is available.

October 17 - Cancer Support Group meets at 7PM in the Fellowship Hall

October 18 - Cub Scouts and Brownie Scouts meet at 6PM.

October 19 - Communicant's lass meets at 6:30PM and Choir rehearsal begins at 7PM

October 22 - Carla Shaw & Grant Mills will be joined as husband and wife at 4PM in our sanctuary. There will not be a Saturday evening service.

November 18 - Annual Soup & Chili Supper and Bazaar. Come out enjoy the great foods and find a crafty item for Christmas!
