Upcoming at First Pres.
Just a few of the events to note at 1st Presbyterian Church in the next week or two:
May 30 – Office closed for Memorial Day
June 4 – City-wide Yard Sale. We need folks to work on the 4th as well as to help set up the 1st, & 2nd.
June 4 – Wedding of Lani Tepen at St. Clement Church all are invited check the church bulletin for specific time.
We are having a Bridal Basket for Matt Arnold and his fiancé Kara Evans. Please leave your gifts in the basket or bring them to the church office prior to June 5th.
June 5 - Proving that teachers never lose their class… there will be a retirement teat for Judy King in the Fellowship Hall from 2-5pm, all are invited.
June 12 – The Mt Olivet & Farber Presbyterian Churches are celebrating 25 years of ministry of Rev. Bob Balwanz at the Farber Community Center from 2-4pm. Everyone is invited!
Many thanks to all who worked and helped in any way with the BBQ! It is impossible to do these events each year without a lot of cooperation.
Kids & Parents!!!! Pleas keep out of the Mitchell House during the demolition it is not safe!!

This Week At 1st Presbyterian Church
Just a few of the items happening this week at 1st Pres.
The caps and visors have arrived! If you order either, they are available in the church office. Remember you need to wear a cap or visor when cooking or serving at the BBQ this week!!!
May 11 – Choir rehearsal 7 pm in the sanctuary.
May 13 - BBQ – Serving from 11 am – 7 pm.
May 14 – Sat Eve. Service at 6 pm. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper
May 15 – Pentecost – We will be visiting the Beautiful Gate Café again for work, led by our Youth. The Lord’s Supper will be served.
May 16 – Cancer Support Group meets at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
May 18 – Session meets at 6 pm in the library.
Just a reminder! Demolition has begun on the Green House. If you use that driveway to exit the parking lot it is at your own risk!

This week at 1st Presbyterian Church
Just a few of the events in the near future at 1st Pres. Church.
Thursday, May 5 – National Day of Prayer activities at the Memorial on the square at 12:00 pm.
Friday, May 13 - Annual BBQ. Bring your friends and a hearty appetite for some good eating. We are serving from 11 am – 7 pm. Volunteers are always welcome to help throughout the day.
Saturday, May 14 – The Lord’s supper will be celebrated during our evening service.
Sunday, May 15 – Pentecost. The Lord’s Supper will be offered at the Beautiful Gate Café as our youth lead us during our multimedia worship service.
Monday, May 16 – The Cancer Support Group meets at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday, May 18 – Session meets at 6pm in the library.
Saturday, May 21 – The Youth Group has planned a trip to the Rec-Plex. However, they need adult drivers to make it a reality. THERE WILL NOT BE A SATURDAY EVENING SERVICE ON MAY 21ST!!!
Sunday, May 22 – We will be recognizing our graduates during the worship service.
