Jude 1:3-4 “Beloved, while eagerly preparing to write to you about the salvation we share, I find it necessary to write and appeal to you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain intruders have stolen in among you, people who long ago were designated for this condemnation as ungodly, who pervert the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Enough is ……….ENOUGH!!!!! What will it take for humankind to believe in God and what God says? Destroying the world with a flood was not enough. Of course, for a time we turned from our sinful ways. God agreed never again to destroy humanity by water, however, do we think God will sit back and let sin rule creation? No, each of us will be subject to God’s judgment on the Great Day, the day of Christ’s return.

God has spared humanity through all the millenia and I wonder if he is at the end of his rope. Who can He send? Who can He trust with this great burden of saving humanity from their sinful lives? The One. But humanity will have to wait. Keep in prayer so we aren’t found floundering in our sinfulness at the time of Christ’s return.

Dear God, please help us to do what is right as we prepare for what is coming. I suddenly remember the people who offended me this year, who still owe me an apology; help me to remember all that you have forgiven me without an apology. I’m sorry and I am waiting for what is coming. Amen.
