Upcoming Events 8/7-8/14 and beyond

Here are Just some of the upcoming events at 1^st Presbyterian Church.

August 10 – Session meets at 6pm in the library

August 13 – Wedding of Curtis Scherder and Christina Prunty 3:30pm Reception to follow at the K of C in St. Clement. Also we are collecting a Bridal Money basket for Curtis & Christina. If you wish to contribute, please bring you gift to the church office before 8/11.

August 21 – Worship at BG City Park (Upper Pavilion) followed by a carry-in dinner and other fun activities.

August 24 - The first day of School! A day of joy for parents and a time for us all to remember to drive carefully.

August 25 - Missouri Union Presbytery ets at Camp Covenant Point beginnng at 9:30am.

August 27 – The Communicant’s Class will have their first meeting of the year from 10:30am till about 2pm in the Fellowship Hall.

September 4 – The Branches Sunday School Class will begin a study of spiritual disciplines. If you are interested please let Rev. O’Dowd know by 8/28 so sufficient materials can be prepared. Also the Youth Group will meet at 5pm in the Fellowship Hall.
